How do I Participate and What is Involved?
Who can participate?
Anyone above 18 years of age can participate. You do not need to have high blood pressure to take part in this study.

What does participating involve?
A pharmacist or pharmacy student will collect some information from you, such as your age, sex, weight, medical conditions and medications as well as measure your blood pressure and heart rate.

Will my name and personal information be included?
No, your name, date of birth, health card number, and address will not be collected.
​
How long will it take?
Participating will take about 15-20 minutes.

What is May Measurement Month?
May Measure Month 2024 (MMM24) is a global blood pressure screening project taking place in more than 90 countries worldwide.

Dr. Tiffany Lee and her research team at Memorial University have partnered with Hypertension Canada, the International Society of Hypertension, the Imperial College London, and Community Pharmacies in Newfoundland and Labrador to collect data on adult blood pressure levels in our province.
